Surrey 2010 Community Engagement Sessions
Throughout the fall season, a series of upcoming Open Houses we're held to provide details on the City's 2010 programs and the many ways the community can be a part of it!

Surrey Adventure Quest
Saturday, January 30, 10am – 2pm
South Surrey Athletic Park
Get down and dirty at the 1st Annual Surrey Quest. An adventure challenge intended to be fun, adventurous, interactive and celebrate community. Each item gathered, challenge completed, trivia question answered and pledge collected will give you points. Your team of 4 or more is racing against the clock as you work together to cross the finish line - all in an effort to raise funds for Right To Play. For more information visit www.surreyquest.surrey.ca  

Surrey 2010 Celebration Site 

The Surrey 2010 Celebration Site in Holland Park will be the place for all Surrey residents to gather and celebrate the spirit of the Winter Olympics. This festival will run concurrently with the Games and will feature live broadcasts of Olympic events on large video screens, sport activities for people of all ages, food service and live entertainment.

Concerts are planned on Friday and Saturday nights with a focus on family and cultural performances on Sunday on two main stages.

The Celebration Site is scheduled to operate Friday, February 12 until Sunday, February 28, 2010 and will be closed Mondays and Tuesdays. For more details visit the 2010 Celebration Site Website.
